I studied film and television at Missouri State University and have been teaching and making films for over 25 years. It all began with acting, and transitioned into making short films, which eventually led to making long form feature films. 

My mantras are, “done is better than perfect” and “something begets something.” Other inspirations that have contributed to my philosophy is to “do the next indicated thing you’re passionate about, and let the future projects take care of themselves.”

I believe our calling is the place where our deepest joy, the world's greatest needs, and our God-given gifts converge!
