Thank you for visiting my page! My family and I are launching Shoestring Masterpiece Studios. To get it off the ground, we are offering sneak peak access to all of the work I’ve created over the last twenty years. 

Our daughter is 10 years old, and it is so hard to find content that we can watch as a family. I’ve recently had a breakthrough in my work, and going forward I want to serve this audience. As I reflect on the work in which I’ve acted, written, directed, it is all in the family friendly space. 

This is the gap I want to stand in with my family and I am inviting you to help us in this journey. This month, before we launch a more formal website to sell my work, we are offering links to all of my work for a donation or contribution.

With a donation, you will have access to:

• Mike Akel short film collection (TV web series award)

• Sneak peak into sketches and works in progress of Churchville, which is what we are launching independently

Each film or series is a work of art that costs from $30,000 to $200,000 to make. With that, we have a recommended donation of $100.00. If you want to give more, we’ll allow it. If you aren’t able to give right now, send me an email and I’ll send you the link anyway! This would also make a fun holiday gift for a loved one. 

You can only watch so many Christmas movies. Right?

All contributions go to us, so that we can focus our efforts on selling past and current work, plus continue to work on Churchville.
